After months and months of travel bans, foreign tourism in the region is back on the rise!
Whilst tourists from Ukraine and Poland have already been enjoying the Turkish seaside resorts, we may now see a return of the Brits. The government has eventually put Turkey on their list of countries you are allowed to travel to, so as long as flights are running we should see people getting some last minute trips in.
Whilst September is normally the end of the tourist season, the weather here is still beautifully sunny and considerably warmer than most of Europe. Anyone who visits will still be able to sunbathe and swim in the sea, they will just need a jacket or some long pants for the nighttime. In my opinion now is actually the best time to visit, especially if you plan on visiting historical or tourist sites – The weather is a much more comfortable temperature than just a month previously and Turkish children and students are back to school meaning a greatly reduced number of people around.
