As August comes to an end and the pandemic looms on things can feel pretty stressful. Luckily that’s not stopping the people of Marmaris from enjoying their weekends and making the most of the summer. Below are some of the top places to go this weekend.
Bono Good Times Marina
This Marina front restaurant and bar is very popular with locals due to its buzzing atmosphere and reputation for quality food and drink. Currently it is joined with the club next door, HIX, to allow for a larger outdoor seating area to accommodate everyone. I would definitely recommend making a reservation in advance and dressing up nice if you plan to spend your evening here. They have a DJ on every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening and we would recommend the rooftop terrace for the best view.
Casa Gaia
This gorgeously decorated bar situated in İçmeler is having a vinyl night this Saturday with DJ Akif Soyer playing 9pm-midnight. With friendly staff and beautiful signature cocktails this bar is the perfect place to relax this weekend. They also do the best bar nibbles I’ve had offering oranges and strawberries they’ve dried themselves as well as crisps and olives.
Icon Beach
This beach club in İçmeler has live music every day during their 16:00-20:00 happy hour. This Saturday there will be 80s and 90s percussion during the day from Osman Ucum & Raci and 3 DJs playing deep house and progressive housetechno from 20:00-00:00. Kumka Beach
At just a 6 minute drive away from Marmaris Marina this beach bar and restaurant is hosting live acoustic music on both Friday and Saturday starting at 8:30pm. With a wide range of cocktails and a relaxing atmosphere it is also a lovely location to swim and watch the sunset. For that reason it’s almost too easy to spend the whole day here.
